Individualized Career Preparation, Internships, and Career Networking

Your chosen career—whether in law, business, education, healthcare, or any other field—is not left to chance. It is guided by career assessment tools and tests. In addition, extensive internship and network opportunities will be provided to clarify for each student what career they are most suited and interested in pursuing.

Research cited by Inside Higher Ed shows that only about 20% of undergraduates receive high-quality career guidance, and just 54% of students are aware that career services exist on their campuses.

At Chabad BA, individualized career development is central to the student experience. Every student receives personalized career assessment using advanced tools to identify paths aligned with their passions, interests, and strengths. Once a direction is established, internships and/or summer coursework are arranged and pursued during evenings and throughout the program’s three summers. With administrative approval, students may reside in the Rabbinical College dormitories while completing summer internships or coursework.

During the academic year, leading Jewish professionals from diverse fields will regularly visit our campus to engage with students and discuss real-world career opportunities. Chabad BA is deeply committed to each student’s long-term professional success and to helping graduates choose careers that enable a meaningful contribution to society.

CAREER ASSESSMENT TOOLS UTILIZED BY CHABAD BA

During the first year of the Chabad BA Program, each student will complete one or more of the most advanced career assessment tools. In addition, every student will meet individually with a career development counselor to begin designing a personalized and optimal career pathway.
